Our Story

Family name, community pharmacy

Geena Pharmacy is an independent retail community pharmacy that sells over-the-counter and prescription medicines, orthopaedic supplies, a range of beauty products, baby formula and diagnostic supplies to the people of Douala, Cameroon the Bonassama health district specifically.

The name GEENA was coined using the first letters of family members. The pharmacy went operational in April 2003 with five workers. The initial stock of medication was supplied by UBIPHARM and LABOREX, the two principal wholesalers of medicines in the country.

In 2018, Geena Pharmacy became a private limited company. It is located on the main axis to two regions, and our clients are mostly those who live or work in the neighbourhood.

Geena Pharmacy is solely owned by Doctor Belinda Assam, who currently sits as the Managing Director, and is situated in the Bonassama health district, Douala, Cameroon.
